Cloudy for western Scotland, into Wales and southwest England through the morning with outbreaks of rain with showers especially along western coasts, rain will move further inland through the morning though becoming patchy into Cumbria and Lancashire,cheshire to Shropshire and across north Wales. As rain clear sunshine and showers will follow on. Generally cloudy though dry for central and southern England with rain becoming light across south Wales and into the midlands and southwest England. Remaining cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain through the afternoon though dry for SE England.


Wednesday Night
Staying cloudy across Scotland, Wales and southwest England with further mix of rain and showers during evening easing overnight and being confined to western Scotland. A mre general area of rain will reach sw England overnight.


Thursday 29 Feb
A cloudy start for Deveon, Cornwall, Somerset to Hampshire and across to Cambridgeshire and Kent with rain slow to clear through the morning temperatures near 10C mid-morning Hampshire to Cambridgeshire will fall to 8C early afternoon as rain and cloud clears. MIddle England Gloustershire, Warwickshire to Yorkshire mainly dry with sunshine temperatures 6C generally. Wales and into Scotland a mix of sunshine and showers, showers frequent and often heavy 4-6C. Shwers and cloud clearing during the evening with both ground and air frost fro inland Scotland and northern England.

Sunday
Heavy rain in northern Spain on Saturday together with gales. Showers in central and southern Spain and Portugal with some heavy showers. Fair in most of the central Mediterranean. Heavy rain for the south of Italy. but dry and bright in central and northern areas. Wet in Greece, especially the west, but fair in the east. Turkey should be fine and dry with lots of sunshine.
Windy and wet for France, the rain heavy at times. Further rain in parts of the Low Countries. Germany should be dry and bright with more dry weather in Poland. Hungary will be bright and dry as will be Austria, Sweden is bright too with some sunny spels here.
Denmark will have some outbreaks of rain whilst the Baltic States are dry but cold and rather cloudy. More chill weather and broken cloud in Finland. Sleet and some snow in eastern parts of Sweden. Norway wil have snow showers in the west but will be dry in the south.


Monday
A cold and unsettled day across Spain. Frequent showers and periods of rain together with strong winds. The showers affecting most of Portugal too, although southern areas of Portugal may be better. Chilly in the Balearics but dry with some sunny spells. Italy will have heavy rain in central and northern areas but should be drier to the south. Heavy showers in Greece with western and southern Turkey seeing some rain too.
Windy far north and west of France with heavy rain here. The rain extends into central France too. Further wind and some showery rain for the Low Countries whilst Germany and Poland should be dry and bright. Hungary will have some sunshine and should be dry. Rain for Switzerland, some of it heavy.
Fine for Denmark with sunny spells here. Fair too in the Baltic States. Finland will have some light snow. Sweden should be mostly dry with the best of any sunshine in the south. Dry for southern Norway but snow showers over the coasts of the north.

Rain in southern Ireland and southwest England this morning, some of it heavy and winds increasing too. Dry elsewhere although with a fair amount of cloud. The rain reaches southern Wales and southern England this afternoon, turning heavy at times. Breezier for much of central and southern England and Wales. Dry in other areas with broken cloud. A risk of some showers in northwest Scotland. Tops at 6 to 9C.


Sunday Night
Windy in southern England tonight. Some rain affecting the far south. Drier in other areas with the cloud breaking. Showers oin the far north of Scotland and a few showers on eastern coasts of England too. A frost in Scotland at -1C but generally 2 to 5C.


Monday
With low pressure over France Monday morning is going to be windy across East Anglia and much of central and southern England. There is likely to be rain for southeast England at first although this should be clearing, but it does feel cold throughout. A drier start for the rest of the UK and Ireland with a slight frost in the north and west. The afternoon is generally dry with some sunny spells for most. Remaining windy in the southeast.Becoming cloudier in northwest Scotland. Highs near 5C in northern Scotland, 8C in central and western England and Wales.


Tuesday
A cold front brings some showery outbreaks of rain to Scotland, Ireland and northern England, reaching west Wales in the afternoon on Tuesday. Many central, eastern and southern areas will be dry with some sunny spells although a morning frost and a few mist patches here. Turning brighter in northern and western Scotland as well as western Ireland later, a few showers on western coasts here. Highs at 7 to 9C.

Rather cloudy to start across Western Isles of Scotland, south Wales, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall and fringing Kent with showers or longer spells of rain, these clearing by mid-morning. Remainder of Scotland overnight frost for central and eastern areas will clear by mid-morning with a sunny start. For Yorkshine across midlands to Dorset dry and sunny start with patchy frost clearing mid-morning. The remainder of the day for most will remain generally dry with spells of sunshine, becoming rather cloudy with scattered showers likely, some of these heavy across south Wales,Devon and Cornwall, south midlands to Hampshire, across to Norfolk to Kent during the afternoon clearing through to evening. Temperatures generally 5 to 7C during the afternoon. Winds remainig light and variable.


Saturday Night
Through the evening showers across Kent will tend to clear with variable cloud remaing for a time. Elsewhere for England, Wales and Scotland dry during the evening and early night with patchy cloud remaining, temperatures quickly falling to below 0C across much of Scotland during the eveing with a widespread ground frost and later as temperatires fall to -4 in central Highland a widespread air frost. For Cumbria, Cheshire across to Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk and eastern midlands patchy ground frost at first with air forst tofollow temperatire 0 to -2C. A dry generally fine and summy start though with overnight frost clearing by mid-morning. Staying generally dry with sunshine though cloud will steadily increase from teh southwest later. For western Scotland and coatal Highland, later Tayside sunshine and scattered showers some frequent and heavy for a time during the morning, gradually easing through the afternoon and into the evening temperatures 1C mid-morning to 4C during the afternoon. Forst overnight. Staying dry and generally sunny through the morning for Cumbria, Cheshire over to Yorkshire, Northumbria and Lincolnshire temperatures 2C at first briefly 5C later morning and early afternoon. Becoming increasingly cloud during the afternoon with a freshening E/SE wind though should reamin dry into the eveing. Wales, southwest England, midlands and southeast England dry though the morning with sunshine to start though cloud will increase later morning into the afternoon from the southwest with rain into south WWales, Devon and Cornwall, Somerset to Hampshire early afternoon with a freshening SE wind. Remaining cludy with rain into midlands and across to Norfolk and Kent by evening.

Cloudy with rain through the morning affecting Hampshire eastwards to Kent and northwards into Oxforshire to Norfolk temperatures 5C, rain will clear during the morning and the afternoon will be mainly dry and sunny with variable cloud though with a fresh NE wind and high windchill 7C during the afternoon. Cloudy for Portugal with outbreaks of rain, this more persistent in north. Cloudy for north Spain with some rain and mountain snow, brighter and drier further south with sunny spells. Cloudy for France with further outbreaks of rain and mountain snow. Showers or longer spells of rain for the British Isles mostly for south and west, and some mountain snow. Cloudy with outbreaks of rain for the Low Countries. Germany will be drier but still rather cloudy. A band of rain will spread east over Poland. Any remaining snow for southern Norway will clear through the morning with a mostly dry and bright day following for most parts of Scandinavia. Some rain is expected for the Baltic States and snow for Finland, rain spreading over Belarus later and parts of northern Ukraine.
Some snow even down to lowers levels for Switzerland, but turning drier brighter later. A cloudy day with snow for Austria even down to low levels in west. Cloudy with outbreaks of rain for Czechia and Slovakia, while rain will be more light and patchy over Hungary. Dry and bright over Romania and most of the Balkans, away from west coasts.
